Roadtrip by Southern Cross Rides is a collection of budget-friendly day, overnight and weekend motorcycle rides aimed at providing local motorcyclists and their partners exciting and unusual travel opportunities in the company of fellow enthusiasts.
Each Roadtrip has been specially created to give you the most exciting and rewarding biking experience in limited time. They have been developed to encourage you to look a little further than the usual weekend runs and rallies, and to give you the opportunity to experience other parts of this great biking destination.
At Roadtrip, we believe in helping you rediscover just why you love biking so much, so why not join us on our travels to some of southern Africa's most popular, unusual and sometimes, unexpected destinations...
Our rides have all been selected and planned to accommodate every level of rider - from the novice to the advanced. We take every precaution to ensure rider safety during the rides and strict riding discipline is applied throughout the ride to ensure the most enjoyable trip for each guest.
Our rides depart from Cape Town, but we invite riders from other parts of the country to join in. We can arrange bike transport from any major centre at reasonable rates; bike hire in Cape Town and our Fly/Ride packages provide real value-for-money adventures. For those that prefer to ride to the starting points, additional en-route options are available.

The Western Cape offers some of the most magnificent riding experiences in the country, and our Twelve Passes weekend ride showcases the region to perfection. Join us for three days of riding, experiencing twelve of the most enjoyable road passes the region has to offer.

Garden Route Magical Tour
20 -22 September 2024
No biking trip in the Western Cape can exclude the lake district of the Garden Route, so this weekend ride takes us to the region. Winding roads; breathtaking sights and the company of friends and fellow riders makes this a truly memorable weekend to enjoy.
