When one thinks of the West Coast of South Africa, one can't help but think of the wild flowers of Namaqualand, surely one of the great natural events on South Africa's annual calendar.  But the West Coast is more than just Namaqualand, and this tour takes you a little deeper into the heart of the region.

The West Coast is generally an arid region, but it provides some of the most remarkable scenic beauty in the country - across a vast and yet incredibly hospitable part of Africa. Our tour takes us from Cape Town to the northern point at Springbok, and down through Calvinia and the Hantam region.

From the sophistication of Cape Town, the West Coast allows us to experience everything from the more than 4000 flower species of Namaqualand (season dependent), to the coastal beauty of Langebaan and Lamberts Bay; the vastness of Calvinia and the unique Ceres and Wellington fruit-growing region.

This tour is ideal for pillion riders and avoids all sand and gravel routes. We will experience everything from Namaqualand to the Breede River Valley and the route includes the really breathtaking Bains Kloof Pass.
